Some CURIOSITIES

Wine and bullfighting have their common denominator in the fiesta and this can be seen in a multitude of artistic motifs throughout the winery. We can see different Goyaesque engravings and various bullfighting prints as well as programmes, made on silk, from various years of the San Fermín fairs.

The collection of hand programmes and souvenirs of San Fermín, which the Mencos family has compiled over generations, is one of the most important in the region and was exhibited in the exhibition rooms of this palace in 2008 under the title ‘125 years of memories of San Fermín’.
