Some CURIOSITIES

The winery

The winery was installed in the middle of the 18th century and was at its most active a century later, where the wines produced here were sold in Spain and France, although they were also marketed in England and even on the island of Cuba.

At the end of the 19th century, following the American phylloxera epidemic, all of the family’s vines were destroyed and the winery was no longer in use. Of what was once the great bodega, half of it has been preserved intact, the original floor can be seen, as well as the whitewashed walls and vaulted ceiling, as well as some beautiful period oak vats.
