The foundations of the cellar are the very rock on which the palace is built, which means that the humidity and temperature conditions remain constant throughout the year.<\/p>\n

This, added to the darkness of the room and the absence of odours, creates an optimal situation for winemaking.<\/strong><\/p>\n

These large stones come from the paving of the courtyard, known as \u2018el pavado\u2019 of the Palace or Reales Alc\u00e1zares de Tafalla, a historical place of recreation for the kings of Navarre and which was used especially in the 15th century.<\/p>\n

In each generation, the owner of the Palacio de los Mencos was also the Warden of the Reales Alc\u00e1zares de Tafalla,<\/strong> until its disappearance at the end of the 19th century.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
